A Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seccional Sergipe (OAB/SE), por meio da Escola Superior da Advocacia (ESA), assinou, nesta terça-feira, 22, o termo de adesão ao Movimento Nacional dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), consolidando seu compromisso com a Agenda 2030 da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU). A assinatura ocorreu no plenário da OAB/SE.
O termo de adesão é focado em desenvolver ações que promovam a equidade de gênero, alinhando-se ao ODS 5 da Agenda 2030 da ONU. Intitulado “Alcançar a igualdade de gênero e empoderar todas as mulheres e meninas”, o ODS 5 visa garantir que homens e mulheres tenham as mesmas oportunidades e direitos em todos os aspectos da vida.
“Celebramos mais um passo significativo no nosso compromisso com a defensa de valores democráticos, da equidade de gênero e dos direitos fundamentais. A assinatura do termo com o Movimento Nacional ODS não apenas fortalece nossas ações, mas reafirma o papel da OAB/SE como agente transformador na sociedade”, afirmou Danniel Costa, presidente da OAB/SE.
A Ordem já é parceira do Movimento Nacional ODS e já teve vários projetos reconhecidos e premiados com o Selo ODS. “Há alguns anos, nossa Ordem já se compromete com esses ideais, e essa dedicação foi reconhecida por meio de diversos selos que recebemos, em virtude dos projetos que desenvolvemos alinhados aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU. Cada um desses reconhecimentos nos motiva a seguir em frente, aprimorando ações que promovam a equidade, a inclusão e a proteção dos direitos humanos em nosso estado”, ressalta Costa.
O termo de adesão ao Movimento Nacional ODS foi firmado por meio da ESA/SE. A diretora-geral, Samyle Regina, explica que essa adesão fortalece o papel educacional da instituição, além de destacar a importância da Coordenadoria para o Desenvolvimento da Equidade de Gênero.
“Fomentar a equidade de gênero é uma das principais metas desse movimento, e nossa atuação se conectará a projetos educacionais que promovam essa causa vital. A ESA/SE, ao assumir esse compromisso, reafirma que a educação é um pilar fundamental para a transformação social. Acreditamos que, por meio da capacitação e conscientização, podemos formar profissionais não apenas competentes, mas também comprometidos com uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária”, conclui.

O Movimento Nacional ODS é uma iniciativa que visa mobilizar a sociedade brasileira em torno dos 17 objetivos estabelecidos pela ONU, que buscam erradicar a pobreza, proteger o planeta e garantir paz e prosperidade para todos até 2030. O movimento encoraja parcerias entre governos, empresas, organizações da sociedade civil e cidadãos, promovendo ações concretas que impulsionam o desenvolvimento sustentável e a equidade em diversas áreas, como saúde, educação, igualdade de gênero e proteção ambiental. A adesão ao movimento representa um compromisso com práticas que geram impacto positivo e transformador nas comunidades e no país.
