A Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seccional Sergipe (OAB/SE) e o Centro de Excelência Atheneu Sergipense assinaram, na última quarta-feira, 23, um termo de cooperação técnica para a realização de ações educativas e formativas voltadas à conscientização da comunidade escolar.
O objetivo da parceria é criar espaços de debate e reflexão sobre temas relevantes, especialmente voltados aos estudantes do ensino médio. A vice-presidente da OAB/SE, Edênia Mendonça, destacou a importância da educação na formação de cidadãos conscientes.
“Firmar essa parceria com o Colégio Atheneu é um passo fundamental, pois a OAB/SE, por meio de suas comissões, estará presente na escola, levando informações sobre temas essenciais para os estudantes e contribuindo para uma formação mais consciente desses jovens”, ressaltou Edênia.
Além das palestras a serem realizadas no colégio, a vice-presidente também disponibilizou as dependências da OAB/SE para visitas e bate-papos com os estudantes. “Nossa missão vai além da defesa da advocacia; queremos ser agentes de inclusão e transformação social. Através de projetos e iniciativas, temos a oportunidade de mostrar que a carreira jurídica é acessível e que esses jovens têm voz ativa na construção de uma sociedade mais justa. Queremos abrir portas e oferecer um espaço onde eles se sintam valorizados, acreditando que são parte essencial do nosso futuro”, enfatizou Edênia.
A diretora do Centro de Excelência, Liliane Teixeira, agradeceu a parceria e ressaltou a importância da aproximação de instituições como a OAB com as escolas da rede pública. “Esse é apenas o pontapé inicial de uma parceria que tenho certeza de que dará muito certo. Temos muitos alunos que sonham em ser advogados e trazer a OAB para dentro da escola aproxima esses sonhos. Não tenho dúvida de que será uma parceria relevante, pois os alunos verão a escola como a ponte que os permitirá avançar em seu processo de educação”, destacou.
Neste primeiro momento de parceria, as palestras serão ministradas pela Comissão de Direito Eleitoral, abordando temas focados na educação cívica e eleitoral, com o intuito de combater a desinformação, promover o pensamento crítico e formar cidadãos conscientes.
