OAB Sergipe avança no diálogo institucional sobre a 9ª Vara Federal de Propriá

A OAB Sergipe realizou nova reunião institucional para tratar da situação da 9ª Vara Federal de Sergipe, anteriormente instalada no município de Propriá.

Participaram do encontro o presidente da OAB Sergipe, Danniel Alves Costa, a vice-presidente da seccional, Maria Edênia Mendonça, a secretária-geral da seccional, Andrea Leite, a diretora do Foro da Seção Judiciária de Sergipe, juíza federal Lidiane Vieira Santos do Bomfim, e o vice-diretor do Foro, juiz federal Tiago José Brasileiro Franco, em continuidade às tratativas voltadas à construção de uma solução que preserve o acesso à Justiça na região ribeirinha do Estado.

A pauta central permaneceu a mesma: os impactos decorrentes da paralisação das atividades da 9ª Vara Federal em Propriá e as dificuldades geradas com a transferência para o município de Itabaiana. Durante a reunião, houve avanço no diálogo institucional, especialmente quanto à importância de que a sede da 9ª Vara não permaneça em Itabaiana, diante das limitações de acesso enfrentadas pela população atendida pela unidade.

Também houve avanço nas discussões sobre a necessidade de criação de um novo Juizado Especial Federal em Aracaju, considerando o elevado volume de processos atualmente concentrados na capital, que registra um dos maiores índices de congestionamento da 5ª Região.

A OAB Sergipe reforçou que a definição da localização da Vara e a ampliação da estrutura da Justiça Federal em Sergipe devem observar critérios que assegurem efetividade no atendimento à advocacia e aos jurisdicionados, especialmente trabalhadores rurais, pescadores e beneficiários da Justiça Federal em demandas previdenciárias.

O encontro reafirmou o compromisso conjunto entre a OAB Sergipe e a Direção do Foro da Justiça Federal em buscar alternativas viáveis, seja em caráter provisório, seja definitivo, com foco na preservação do acesso à Justiça e na redução dos impactos sociais decorrentes da atual situação.

A OAB Sergipe segue acompanhando de perto as tratativas e atuando institucionalmente para que sejam construídas soluções adequadas, técnicas e socialmente responsáveis para a 9ª Vara Federal e para o fortalecimento da Justiça Federal em Sergipe.
