OAB Sergipe e TRF5 buscam soluções para 9ª Vara Federal em Propriá

A OAB Sergipe participou, nesta semana, de reunião institucional com o presidente do Tribunal Regional Federal da 5ª Região (TRF5), desembargador federal Roberto Machado, e com o juiz auxiliar da presidência, juiz federal Alcides Mendonça, para tratar da paralisação das atividades da 9ª Vara Federal de Sergipe, anteriormente instalada no município de Propriá, bem como dos impactos decorrentes da transferência de suas atividades para Itabaiana.

Representando a advocacia sergipana, estiveram presentes o presidente da OAB Sergipe, Danniel Alves Costa e o presidente da Regional de Propriá, Caíque Barreto.

Durante a reunião, a OAB Sergipe alertou para os prejuízos causados à advocacia e à sociedade com a paralisação das atividades da 9ª Vara Federal em Propriá, assim como para as dificuldades de acesso à Justiça decorrentes da transferência para o município de Itabaiana, especialmente para a população ribeirinha e para os profissionais que atuam na região.

Na ocasião, o presidente do TRF5 demonstrou sensibilidade em relação à pauta apresentada e comprometeu-se a conferir prioridade orçamentária à busca de uma solução para o problema no âmbito da Seção Judiciária de Sergipe.

Embora, no momento, não haja definição de solução imediata, seja provisória ou definitiva, a reunião cumpriu seu objetivo institucional ao reforçar o caráter cooperativo e o diálogo permanente entre a OAB Sergipe e o Poder Judiciário, com foco na preservação do acesso à Justiça e na redução dos impactos à advocacia e aos jurisdicionados atendidos pela 9ª Vara Federal.
