Interiorização da advocacia: diretoria da OAB/SE se reúne com chefes do executivo e do legislativo do município de Propriá

A secretária-geral da OAB/SE, Andrea Leite, o secretário-geral adjunto, Raphael Reis, e o presidente da Comissão Regional de Propriá e Região Ribeirinha, Caique Barreto, reuniram-se na última quarta-feira, 13, com o prefeito de Propriá, Luciano de Menininha, e com o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Jobson Santana. Em pauta, a discussão de projetos que irão beneficiar a advocacia da região.

Durante o encontro, a secretária-geral Andrea Leite abordou com o prefeito a viabilidade de instalar, em um espaço público, o Banco Vermelho, um símbolo internacional de luta e conscientização contra o feminicídio e de valorização da vida das mulheres.

“O combate à violência contra as mulheres e o apoio às vítimas são bandeiras permanentes da OAB. Agosto é o mês dedicado ao enfrentamento à violência, e o Banco Vermelho, símbolo internacional de combate ao feminicídio, representa todas as mulheres que tiveram suas vidas interrompidas por esse crime brutal. Além disso, reforça a necessidade de acabar com essa prática criminosa. Assim como fizemos em Aracaju, queremos levar esse símbolo de luta e conscientização para todo o estado”, explica Andrea Leite.

Outra pauta discutida na reunião foi o envio de um projeto de lei à Câmara de Vereadores que priorize o atendimento a advogados, no exercício profissional, em repartições públicas e instituições financeiras, como já ocorre no município de Estância.

“Existem muitas situações, na garantia do contraditório e da ampla defesa, que exigem a rápida obtenção de documentos para a instrução de processos judiciais. Isso impacta diretamente na celeridade processual, na redução de custos e no fortalecimento do Estado Democrático de Direito. Além da valorização profissional, o projeto tem o objetivo de promover um serviço público mais eficiente, ágil e acessível à sociedade”, afirma o secretário-geral adjunto, Raphael Reis.

O terceiro projeto tratado na reunião foi a realização da primeira edição da Corrida da Advocacia em Propriá. “Dando continuidade ao Projeto de Interiorização da instituição, que já trabalha a valorização da advocacia no interior e a descentralização das ações da OAB em relação à capital, apresentamos essas pautas ao gestor municipal e ao chefe do legislativo, reforçando o compromisso da Ordem com o interior de Sergipe. O encontro foi muito produtivo e contamos com o apoio em todos os nossos pleitos. Seguimos trabalhando para desenvolver e valorizar a advocacia sergipana”, finaliza o presidente da Comissão Regional de Propriá, Caique Barreto.
